Recent News on the Travel Ban

This is a blog post I wrote for my company Hughes Socol Piers Resnick & Dym, Ltd.
The Supreme Court heard arguments related to the Trump administration’s efforts to restrict travel from several majority-Muslim countries. In earlier proceedings, the lower courts have ruled that all three versions of the ban violate federal law and are unconstitutional. During questioning the justices asked a broad variety of questions including ones aimed at the President’s motives for the travel ban as well as questions more narrowly focused on the mechanics of how the travel ban functioned.
